What it means

  • Most adverts don't say. 83% are silent about visas. Silence isn't a no: ask the recruiter before you spend an evening on the application.
  • Some rule it out in writing. 3 say they can't sponsor or want an existing right to work. If you'd need a visa, skip those and save the effort.
  • Few entry-level roles. None is junior or graduate by title; most want experience.

What to put on your CV for Spain

  • Your right to work, near the top. “EU citizen, no visa needed” if that's you; otherwise the route you'd use, for example “Eligible for the EU Blue Card”. Check that it applies to you.
  • Where you are and when you can move. “Based in Bengaluru · relocating to Spain, available from March.”
  • Your phone with its country code, such as +91 or +34.
  • Languages with levels: “English (C1), Spanish (B1)”.

How this is counted: every open DevOps or SRE advert in Spain on the ApplyCV jobs board, read directly from the employers' own job pages (35 today, recounted daily). The visa, relocation and language figures come from each advert's own wording; nothing here is verified with the employer, and an advert that says nothing may still sponsor. The board covers the companies it reads, not every employer in Spain.
