What it means

  • Most adverts don't say. 96% are silent about visas. Silence isn't a no: ask the recruiter before you spend an evening on the application.
  • French is a filter. 13% ask for it. See the English-only ones.

What to put on your CV for France

  • Your right to work, near the top. “EU citizen, no visa needed” if that's you; otherwise the route you'd use, for example “Eligible for the Talent Passport or EU Blue Card”. Check that it applies to you.
  • Where you are and when you can move. “Based in Bengaluru · relocating to France, available from March.”
  • Your phone with its country code, such as +91 or +34.
  • Languages with levels: “English (C1), French (B1)”.

Check your CV for jobs in France

Free, about a minute. It checks what recruiters look at first in a foreign applicant (right to work, location, phone, languages), then reads your CV the way a recruiter would. Paste an advert and it shows what that advert filters on.

Data & ML elsewhere

How this is counted: every open data and ML advert in France on the ApplyCV jobs board, read directly from the employers' own job pages (71 today, recounted daily). The visa, relocation and language figures come from each advert's own wording; nothing here is verified with the employer, and an advert that says nothing may still sponsor. The board covers the companies it reads, not every employer in France.
