About BlaBlaCar
BlaBlaCar is the world’s leading community-based travel app enabling 27 million members a year to carpool or travel by bus in 21 countries. Our team of 800 employees counts over 50 nationalities and is spread across our 5 global offices, 30% working fully remotely.
We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist with 5+ years of hands-on experience to support, evolve and operate our global C&B programs. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, sitting at the intersection of rigorous analysis and day-to-day operational delivery, mixing 60% run 40% projects. You will be the C&B specialist of the People team, reporting directly to the Head of Talent, Culture & Performance. You will partner closely with the DRH, the Remuneration Committee, People Ops, and local HR teams to ensure BlaBlaCar's compensation programs are competitive, equitable and compliant — and ready for the EU Pay Transparency Directive (effective 2027). The role covers the full C&B spectrum across BlaBlaCar's international footprint (France, Brazil, Poland, Ukraine, Spain and beyond): base salary architecture, variable compensation, equity programs (AGA / BSPCE / O-shares / M-shares), employee savings (PEE/PERCO, intéressement), and benefits.
Your responsibilities
Budget 2027Own the finalization and consolidation of the 2027 C&B budget, including benefits cost simulations, across BlaBlaCar's scope.
NAO (Négociations Annuelles Obligatoires)Lead the preparation of the NAO process for France: equity and gender pay gap data, compensation thresholds, market survey inputs, and negotiation-ready materials for the CSE.
EOY Compensation ReviewDrive the global End-of-Year compensation review process end-to-end: calibration follow-up, salary review campaign execution, consolidation, reporting, and day-to-day support to HRBPs and managers.
Salary Bands & Job ArchitectureUpdate and maintain salary bands and the grading system across departments and geographies — including finalizing bands for Brazil and Ukraine — grounded in external benchmarks (AON Radford, Ravio).
Your qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Compensation & Benefits, in an international environment
- Proven experience owning an End-of-Year compensation review cycle end-to-end
- Experience preparing and running NAO processes in a French context
- Strong expertise in job architecture, salary band design, and market benchmarking (Mercer, AON Radford, Ravio or equivalent)
- Comfortable joining a live, ongoing cycle with minimal ramp-up time
- Full professional proficiency in English and French
- Available immediately for a 3-month engagement (freelance/contractor or via agency)
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with Ravio or similar compensation intelligence tools
- Experience in a Tech scale-up or multi-country, multi-collective-agreement C&B scope
What we have to offer
- a 45-min video-call with Elodie, TA Team Lead, to get to know you, understand your career expectations and answer your questions
- a 60-min video-call with Pierre, Head of Talent, Culture & Performance, to discuss your experience and share more details about the position
- a 90-min case study with our People Team
- a 30-min video-call with Frédéric, CHRO, for vision fit and rounding off the process
Interested in joining the ride? Given the urgency of this mission, the process is fast-tracked: a single screening call with Pierre, Head of Talent, Culture & Performance, followed by a quick decision.
