Banking hasn't changed much in decades. We're changing that. One product at a time. Lunar is a Nordic challenger bank building the future of financial life with AI at the core. Our engineers, designers, and product people work on problems that actually matter. Making money simpler, smarter, and more rewarding for millions of people across the Nordics. Fully licensed and founded in 2015, with offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Stockholm. We move fast, we build with purpose, and we're just getting started. As our new Financial Accountant, you'll join the Accounting team based in Copenhagen, reporting to Anne, working to keep the group's books reconciled, controlled and audit-ready across all our entities. What will you do?

  • Own parts of the month-end close across our set of legal entities, from postings and accruals through to balance sheet reconciliations you can stand behind
  • Drive our reconciliation project forward account by account, working through a real backlog so every balance sheet account gets reconciled and then stays that way
  • Turn what you learn from each reconciliation into the controls and SOPs that make the process hold, so it doesn't depend on any one person remembering how it works
  • Work across Unit4 and Business Central while we migrate off Unit4, and help shape the setup in Business Central that we'll run on afterwards
  • Partner with the team and help close out open audit recommendations

What are we looking for in you?

  • Solid hands-on accounting experience, including month-end close, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations in a group with more than one legal entity
  • Experience with an ERP such as Business Central, Unit4 or similar, and confidence in Excel for large reconciliations (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, big datasets)
  • A habit of digging until you find the root cause when something doesn't add up, and then documenting the fix so it doesn't come back
  • Experience with external auditors and with writing process documentation or building controls, or a clear appetite for that side of the job
  • Professional working proficiency in English, and the composure to keep your accuracy when priorities shift. Experience from financial services or another regulated environment is a plus, not a requirement
  • High interest in automation and AI

Benefits and perks

  • 4 days in the office. We're a team that builds together, thinks together, and moves together. Showing up is part of how we work.
  • State of the art equipment. The newest computer, monitor, mouse, and keyboard. We want you to do your best work without anything slowing you down.
  • Pension, health insurance, and enhanced parental leave. From your financial future to your family moments. We've got you covered.
