IT Infrastructure Engineer

Rate: 90 – 120 PLN/hour (B2B)

We are looking for a motivated and driven IT Infrastructure Engineer to join Flix on a freelance/service agreement basis (B2B contract). This contractor engagement is suited to an experienced infrastructure professional who wants to work on impactful identity, access management, automation, and global infrastructure initiatives.

Scope of services

Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Flix’s global identity and access management platform as a coherent set of highly available services. Help build a unified, scalable environment aligned with Flix’s cloud-focused infrastructure strategy.

About the engagement

• Integrate new internal and external applications into Flix’s identity infrastructure, including single sign-on solutions

• Maintain and improve identity and access management services across global cloud and on-premises environments

• Design and implement role-based access control concepts to improve governance and operational efficiency

• Identify improvement opportunities and drive identity and infrastructure projects from concept through implementation

• Automate recurring infrastructure and identity management tasks using scripting, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code practices

• Consult with internal teams and guide them in applying identity and access management best practices

• Support highly available internal business services, including access management, security and compliance configuration, communication tools, and file-sharing platforms

• Contribute to the evolution of Flix’s global IT infrastructure and cloud-focused operating model.

• Document technical solutions, automation workflows, operational procedures, and relevant configuration decisions

About you

• At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID or a comparable identity and access management platform

• Advanced knowledge of modern authentication protocols, including OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SAML

• At least 3 years of scripting experience, ideally with Python

• At least 1 year of experience with infrastructure-as-code solutions, preferably Terraform

• Hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, and daily operations

• Basic experience working with APIs and integrating applications with identity platforms.

• Ability to work with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and business teams

• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

• Experience with infrastructure-as-a-service solutions is a plus

• Basic knowledge of modern frontend frameworks, such as React, or related web technologies is a plus

• Experience with Microsoft 365 products, including Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams, is a plus

Collaboration model

• Cooperation based on a service agreement (B2B/freelance contract), not an employment contract

• You will operate as an independent contractor, responsible for delivering agreed services and submitting invoices

• Location: open for contractors based in Poland
